LAKESIDE RIDER TRAINING COURSE

We are very happy to announce that we are progressing to doing some rider training at Lakeside Raceway on the Driver Training Circuit. Taking everything that has been learnt in our Rider Development Program and more and applying it to a larger faster track, the whole time being watched over by Motodojo instructors giving feedback and correcting techniques for the best possible outcome!!

The Rider Training Circuit is a smaller less intense version of the main Lakeside Raceway. We have chosen this track for a few reasons but mainly being its availability and that we can see the whole track from a central point and make sure we can observe and correct technique in any corner.

The Driver Training Circuit is a purpose built track to develop riding and mental skills, because of this we advise that people ride smoothly and not fast so your brain can keep up with the bike and you can apply your training effectively

What to expect on the day?

While this is an advanced course, all levels are welcome! We have had new riders as well as very seasoned riders come and complete this course and noticeably improve their riding throughout the day. Even though this course is being held at Lakeside it is not a course for learning how to race on a track. We are teaching you to attack corners and pick lines that can be used to improve your everyday riding.

We will split all riders into 3 groups, each group will have 2 coaches that will be with them for the duration of the day. This will allow the coach to give some 1 on 1 support and constructive feedback to ensure you get the best possible result. The day will be split up into a variety of modules (listed below). Each module contains a Pre Brief, Track Time and either an Exercise (morning session) or a break (afternoon session).

We will be running 2 courses at the same time with different modules. You will get to pick which course you want when you book your ticket!

Here is a quick rundown of the 2 course options with the modules you will be doing

Lunch, coffee and bickies and cold bottled water will be provided on the day, but their is a cafe (open on main track) and a vending machine in our room if you would like something else.

See you on the track!!
